What tends to happen in heating units is that soot and corrosion will build up in the heating chamber which can damage the unit and cause dangerous carbon monoxide buildup fumes. A full service will eliminate these elements from the combustion chamber. The service technician will also check for any clogs in the flue that could cause carbon monoxide to back draft. He or she will check the filter and replace with a new high quality durable filter element. We always recommend to change these filters monthly as well.
